Juneau and Southeast Alaska

Alaska has many natural attractions that are very worth while seeing. This region also gets forgotten a lot because it is so far away from mainland U.S, but with the wildlife and national parks that the region holds it is definitely one of the U.S’s most attractive natural regions. The region has the following attractions:

The Inside Passage, which holds three national parks that includes ‘Misty Fjords National Monument’. This region is also home to a lot of wildlife including the endangered Bald Eagle. The region is alive with adventure holidays and nature activities like canoeing.

South-Central Alaska, also has several national parks (eg: ‘Kenai Fjords National Park’) as well as a gorgeous Mountain range (Chunach) and glacier area (Columbia Glacier). This region also has the Prince William Sound, which is where marine wildlife can be seen.

The Interior, This area also has national parks and they include ‘Denali National Park’. There are also plenty of museums and nature hikes to visit and enjoy.

The Bush, is not accessible by road but does have some amazing scenery of the arctic area of Alaska. This area also includes the Aleutian Islands.
